nobody absent due to weather

we are proud to announce that not one of our colleagues here at TextilePeople has had any time off due to the snow.
everyone has battled through the snow and ice to get to work every day and arrived on time.
So that we can keep up with all our orders for aprons, tea towels and cotton bags for life all staff have been travelling to get to work under the most difficult conditions and managed to produce all our orders for shopping bags, waist aprons and childrens aprons too.
These orders help raise funds for schools.
Well done everyone!

Fix your costs - now

Isn't it sad to watch the poor old _ being reduced to a laughing stock.

Not only that, its hitting us all in the pocket too. Less business and rising costs. Not a good situation

Well the good news is that because we employ our own sewing machinists here in the mill our prices are not

rising as much as imported items.

They are paid in sterling not dollars, yuan, rupees or euros. This makes a major part of the

cost – wages - the same as it was before the fall in sterling .

Our overheads are also in sterling.

Although our raw material cost has gone up the other costs remain the same and that helps you,

our customer.

Assess what you need for the next 6 months, let us know what you might need and place a contract

AT A FIXED PRICE. That way you don't need to worry about your costs rising even further.

today's answer to the sandwich board

A restaurant owner in America goes downtown in his apron and chefs hat to encourage shoppers to ask him where his restaurant is.
John Bidecker from a small town in Kansas, wears his apron as a living moving advert - a little like the people who used to wear a sandwich board in the 1950s.
John says that folks come up and peer at the logo on the apron then ask him the location.
"It gives me tha chance to engage them in conversation when I can tell them what they are missing" says John

Cotton prices increase

Sorry to let you know that the price of cotton has increased 26% in the last 12 months and will have an inevitable knock on effect to our prices. Overheads have increased too because of the massive increase in fuel prices. Are we in for a higher rate of inflation?
The official rate does not reflect the reality.
